Tatted Rose card

The tatted Rose card I designed myself, I had this lovely backing paper and just had to use it with the flowers. The bow I found in my box which came originally on a box of chocolates.

I thought I would show you a little picture I have taken of my little card collection.

Butterfly card

This is a tatted butterfly I made with a pattern by Lenore from All-Crafts. I have added blue beads to the wings and mounted it on cream card with a purple glitter card background.

Finished Rose Medallion card

I have finished the Rose Medallion card , I was just waiting to get some more card. I hope you all like it.

Crinoline Lady card

This is a card I made using Miss Caroline, the Crinoline Belle pattern by Martha Ess at All Crafts.
I have changed the pattern by adding more rings at the bottom of the dresss to make it more like a frill and added pearl beads to look like silk.

This weeks tatted cards

This is the unfinished card that I am working on at the moment. The design is called Rose Medallion by Be Stitched, with added extra rounds to make it bigger.
This is a larger sized card backed with pink glitter card. The design is called Merriment Doily by Jon Yusoff.

This picture shows the tatting detail

This design is the inner rounds of the Rosette doily by Linda S Davies.

This weekend I have been working on my card making, I am really enjoying doing the cards, I have been trying to find new ways of designing the card itself by changing the style and adding different coloured paper.I really like the embossing styled cards but I don't have any of the things that you need to do it and the equipment is so expensive so I will have to make the best of what I have got for the moment. I have posted what I have made so far.

This is a card that I made from the central rounds of the coronet doily pattern, I loved how the card turned out and I am now trying some more cards with different tatting patterns.

Coronet doily cushion

I have finaly finished my cushion and I am pleased with how it has turned out, it will make a lovely present. The pattern is called coronet doily by Linda S Davies. I added pearl beads around the centre and around each circle which the photo doesn't show clearly. I love using the doily patterns to make cushions, has anyone else tried this, I would love to see them!
