knitted turtle

I have been having a bit of fun this week adapting this turtle pattern that I found in  a book. The original pattern was just plain patches. I decided to add flowers and sew ridges around the hexagons to make the shell more rigid.

  1. What a cutie and to think he is knitted and not crocheted. That is a happy, colorful little project, and you did great.

  5. Turtle is fun! I've just knitted a hexagon scarf and am interested to see that your hexagons have a structure quite different to mine.
